Hand-turned in Britain by a skilled woodturner, this solid oak lamp base brings the calm of the countryside indoors. Each piece is made slowly, in small batches of just six, using traditional woodturning techniques passed down through generations. The soft twist detail draws on the natural spiralling of trees, adding quiet movement and sculptural warmth to your home.
Crafted from responsibly sourced British oak, the base is finished with aged brass fittings and a neutral jute cable for a timeless, natural feel. Whether placed by a reading chair or on a hallway console, it’s designed to sit gently within your space — never competing, always complementing.
Currently in stock — future batches will take 6–8 weeks. Each lamp base is made in small runs, so once this batch sells out, a short wait begins. The care is worth it.
